天水，位于甘肃省东南部，地处陇中黄土高原与陇南山地的过渡地带，居于中国大陆版图的几何中心，东隔陇山与陕西省相接，西秦岭横贯中部，其北为黄土高原丘陵沟壑地貌，其南为西秦岭山地。
