On March 20, Zhao Bin, deputy general manager of Panchangte, said in an interview with a reporter from China Metallurgical News that a certain type of high-temperature alloy wide cold-rolled sheet used for large aircraft engines manufactured in China has successfully replaced imports, which not only marks that the large aircraft engine materials produced in China have met international standards and also marks important progress in the development of China's aviation materials.

According to Zhao Bin, a special research team composed of 13 scientific researchers from Panchangte conducted multiple rounds of comparative tests and a large amount of data analysis over more than a year. After continuous debugging, tracking, and accumulating test data, it gradually determined The process test window was established, and at the same time, production efficiency was improved by transforming supporting equipment and improving management methods. Finally, a breakthrough in the complete production technology of this high-temperature alloy wide-rolled thin sheet was achieved, and it was the first in China to have stable batch production capabilities.

"This involves three major 'cognition in place': understanding of material characteristics, understanding of production processes, and understanding of improvement of process guarantee conditions." Zhao Bin said that in fact, the production process of this high-temperature alloy wide cold-rolled sheet has made breakthroughs bit by bit. For example, when a "bottleneck" appears at a certain stage, Panchangte researchers need to analyze and solve this problem, and in this way deepen their understanding of the material and its production process, and then deepen their understanding in the same way. In this way, while continuous realization of awareness, the production process of this product has also been continuously improved.

Currently, the superalloy wide cold-rolled sheet is undergoing material airworthiness review and certification developed by China. Zhao Bin told the reporter of China Metallurgical News that among China's commercial development material suppliers, Panchangte is currently the company that has passed the most certifications for metal materials. It is expected that by June this year, a total of 80 metal materials from Panchangte will pass the certification.
