Throughout history, each era has had its specific world order and power structure. And today, when we mention global hegemony, the United States is undoubtedly an existence that cannot be ignored.

However, history also tells us that no country can maintain its hegemony forever. As the saying goes, "Vanity of vanities, all is vanity." Such is the iron law of history.

So, if one day, the United States, the superpower in today's world, weakens, will the world really usher in peace?

The United States, once hailed as the "world's policeman," has long pursued so-called "freedom of navigation" around the globe, leveraging its robust military power, particularly its dominance at sea with 11 nuclear-powered aircraft carriers. As the world's sole superpower, its military, economic, and political influence is ubiquitous.

We understand that the United States upholds unilateral hegemonism, and it has indeed maintained global stability and order to a certain extent.

Yet this stability has not come without cost, and the United States’ military interventions and global strategies have often come with their own share of controversy and conflict.

Thus, does the notion really hold that when someone envisions that war might disappear once the United States declines?
