Data released on the 20th by the National Energy Administration showed that from January to February, the total social electricity consumption was 1.5316 trillion kWh, a year-on-year increase of 11%. Among them, the power generation by industrial enterprises above designated size was 1.4870 trillion kWh.

In terms of industries, the electricity consumption of the primary industry was 19.2 billion kilowatt hours, a year-on-year increase of 11.1%; the electricity consumption of the secondary industry was 952 billion kilowatt hours, a year-on-year increase of 9.7%; and the electricity consumption of the tertiary industry was 286.9 billion kilowatt hours, a year-on-year increase of 15.7%.
