Hong Kong Sevens kicks off today

Will move to Kai Tak Sports Park next year

The 2024 Hong Kong International Sevens (HK Sevens) will be held for three consecutive days from today (April 5) at the Hong Kong Stadium. The organizers of the event announced yesterday that all regular tickets for children and adults for all events have been sold out.

Hong Kong Rugby Union chief executive Robbie McRobbie said this year will be the last for the Sevens at the Stadium if all goes to plan, with next year’s tournament to be played at the new Kai Tak Sports Park main stadium.

It is understood that this year's Seventh Rugby will hold a total of 68 games, of which 12 men's and women's sevens football teams from around the world will participate in the World Seventh Rugby Series; the men's and women's football teams from China and China Hong Kong will participate in the "Asian Triangle- Melrose Silver Sword Match".
