Wang Yi said that China-Russia relations are mature, stable, tough and independent, political mutual trust is solid and solid, strategic cooperation is continuously deepened, mutually beneficial cooperation has broad prospects, people-to-people exchanges are full of vitality, and international cooperation is fruitful. Faced with the intertwined international situation and external interference and resistance, China is willing to work with Russia to uphold the original intention of permanent good-neighborliness and friendship, firmly support each other, safeguard their respective core interests, and always become fellow travelers and good partners in each other's development and revitalization.

Wang Yi said that China and Russia are both important countries in the Asia-Pacific and dialogue partners of ASEAN, and can maintain communication and coordination on East Asian cooperation. China is willing to work with Russia to safeguard an ASEAN-centered, open and inclusive regional cooperation architecture, promote existing East Asian mechanisms to deepen cooperation consensus, and promote regional peace, stability and prosperity.

Lavrov congratulated the successful conclusion of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, saying that this world-renowned event is of great significance not only to China's own development, but also to global economic recovery. Under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, Russia and China maintain close communication, strengthen strategic cooperation, jointly maintain a fair and just international order, practice true multilateralism, and inject positive energy into building a multipolar world. Russia is willing to work with China to promote cooperation in various fields in accordance with the direction pointed out by the two heads of state. Russia will work with China to support ASEAN's central position and prevent sabotage and interference by extraterritorial forces.

The two sides will strengthen cooperation within multilateral mechanisms such as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and BRICS countries. Wang Yi said that China will fully support Russia in fulfilling its responsibilities as the rotating chair of the BRICS countries and preparing for the Kazan Summit. Lavrov said that Russia fully supports China in assuming the rotating chairmanship of the SCO.

The two sides exchanged views on major issues related to peace and security, and discussed matters commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory of the World Anti-Fascist War and the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression next year. It is believed that we should jointly safeguard the achievements of victory in World War II and defend the correct historical view of World War II. Lavrov congratulated China on successfully promoting all Palestinian factions to sign the Beijing Declaration and said that Russia will work together to restore peace in the Middle East.
