On April 2, the "Hubei Cultural Tourism" Weixin Official Accounts announced the news of preferential and free ticket prices during the Qingming Festival holiday for many popular attractions in Hubei Province.
It mentioned that the "Chu King's Horses and Horses Array" Scenic Spot in Jingzhou City launched two preferential activities during the Qingming Festival holiday (April 4-April 6):

1. The royal family of Chu is free:Tourists with the surname Mi and Xiong can enter the park for free;
2. Half price for Chu nobles:The eighteen names of Jingchu (Wu, Qu, Xiang, Lan, Ma, Zhong, Zuo, Jin, Jing, E, Zhuo, Neng, Zhuang, Shen (Zhen), Ao, Jing, Jing), enjoy half-price discounts.

上述门票优惠政策,有网友认为**“具有封建色彩”**。
4月4日,经视直播记者联系上楚王车马阵景区,工作人员告诉记者, There is no such thing as being treated differently, because it is Qingming Festival, which is a time to worship ancestors. This activity allows everyone to understand the surname of Chu and the culture of Chu. The activity lasts for three days and ends from April 4 to April 6. 荆州市文化和旅游局回应称,The original intention of the scenic spot is to promote Chu culture, but the expression is not very appropriate. “景区本意是向大家普及楚文化中的楚王及相关信息的由来,让大家更加关注楚文化和传播楚文化,同时制造一些趣味性的话题,让大家更好享受到活动当中,可能他们的那个表达方式让有游客感到不适,到时他们景区会在楚王车马阵景区公众号上发出一个致歉的声明。”

The Chu King's Horse and Horse Array is the core attraction of Xiongjiazhong National Archaeological Site Park.
Xiongjia Tomb is the best-preserved, largest and most complete tomb of the King of Chu in the Zhou Dynasty ever discovered. It is famous for its magnificent tomb of the King of Chu and its majestic chariot and chariot array. Zhang Zhongpei, a leading figure in archaeology, called it "the world's first royal tomb".
Xiongjia Tomb covers an area of 731 acres and consists of the main tomb, sacrificial tomb, sacrificial tomb, chariot and horse pit, and sacrificial pit. Its grand scale and complete layout are the first to be seen among Eastern Zhou tombs during the same period. The main tomb is a wooden coffin tomb with a vertical hole in the shape of a "A". The opening of the tomb chamber is 67 meters long from east to west and 70 meters wide from north to south. The coffin chamber covers an area of about 400 square meters. It is the largest Chu tomb known so far. The scale of the tomb is about half the size of the main tomb.
There are 40 carriages and horses pits in Xiongjiazu, which spread out north-south with the central axis of the main tomb path as the center, and are arranged in a neat rectangular square array. The No. 1 chariot and horse pit in the main tomb is the largest, with a length of 132.6 meters, a width of 12 meters and a depth of 2.7 meters. Forty-three carriages and 164 war horses have been excavated.
Different from the terracotta warriors and horses in the Mausoleum of Qin Shi Huang, the Chu Dynasty used real carriages and horses to bury them. Jia Hanqing, deputy director of the Jingzhou Museum, said that the burial time of chariots and horses in Chu began in the middle of the Spring and Autumn Period and lasted until the late Warring States Period. The Chu people inherited the etiquette system of the Zhou Dynasty and adopted eclectic methods, forming a burial system with chariots and horses with regional characteristics. The Xiongjiazhong Chemakeng site is the largest and highest-level Chemakeng site discovered during the Eastern Zhou Dynasty.

In fact, this is not the first time that the "Chu King Chariot Array" scenic spot has introduced similar ticket discounts.

今年春节期间,该景区推出的几项优惠措施中,就包括:在楚王车马阵景区背诵楚辞·离骚任意连贯20句的游客可免费入园参观。
**新闻多看点: There are also many attractions across the country that are similar to reciting ancient texts and ancient poems without tickets
