The conference pointed out that the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core attaches great importance to the inspection work. Since the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, two rounds of central inspections have been carried out, covering all centrally-administered enterprises (CAEs). The inspections show that party building in CAEs and related functional departments has been strengthened, and new progress has been made in exercising full and rigorous governance of the Party. However, some problems remain, which must be taken seriously in political terms and addressed in a strict and earnest manner. It is necessary to take the rectification of inspection findings as an effective means of promoting high-quality development and exercising full and rigorous governance of the Party. We should strengthen organizational leadership, fulfill the main responsibilities, establish lists of problems, tasks, and responsibilities, and ensure that every task is carried out and every matter is addressed. We should strengthen the supervision of the rectification of inspection findings, focus on key individuals and key matters, check and clear the records one by one, establish an accountability mechanism for rectification, and hold accountable those who engage in superficial or fraudulent rectification.

The meeting emphasized that state-owned enterprises are an important material and political foundation for socialism with Chinese characteristics. We must uphold and strengthen the party's leadership, thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, solidly perform our duties and missions, and resolutely achieve "two safeguards." It is necessary to coordinate development and security, enhance awareness of crisis, adhere to bottom-line thinking, resolutely prevent and resolve risks, and ensure high-quality development with high levels of security. It is necessary to further promote comprehensive and strict governance of the party, adhere to the strict tone, strict measures, and strict atmosphere for a long time, strengthen supervision over the "top leaders" and leadership teams, continue to maintain a high-pressure posture of punishing corruption, deepen the promotion of reform through cases, promote governance through cases, and resolutely eradicate the soil and conditions for the breeding of corruption.
