At the meeting, a launching ceremony for the 2024 major issues and problems in the power field of the China Society of Electrical Engineering was held, and 20 major issues and problems were released. A standard release ceremony for the China Society of Electrical Engineering standards was also held at the meeting. So far, the society has established 807 standards and released 483 standards.

The meeting adopted the 2024 work report, financial budget report, society transition plan, etc., and adopted the "Proposal on Changing the Candidates for Directors, Standing Directors, etc. of the 11th Council of the China Society of Electrical Engineering" by secret ballot. Wang Jifeng and Wu Jiaxin were elected as standing directors of the 11th Council, and Xu Shukai and other eight people were elected as members of the 11th Council of the Society. The meeting also announced the list of co-opted members of the China Society of Electrical Engineering in 2023, with 11 newly co-opted members including Chen Cixuan and Li Jiancheng and 6 foreign members including Dushan Boroyevich.
