On April 12, Huaneng Zhangpu Dongban Fishery and Light Complementary Photovoltaic Power Station Project officially started construction. This project is a key project in Fujian Province in 2024. It is also the first centralized photovoltaic power station project started by Huaneng Group in Fujian since Fujian Province's "14th Five-Year Plan" application for restarting the centralized photovoltaic pilot.

The project is located in Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province, with an installed capacity of 88 MW and a total investment of about 400 million yuan. After the project is completed, the annual power generation will be about 107 million kilowatt-hours, equivalent to saving about 32,300 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 88,500 tons per year; it can drive the development of local research, tourism, B & Bs, catering, leisure and play and other industries, and is expected to increase the annual output value by 5 million yuan. It is a vivid practice of Huaneng Group to implement the "three-color" culture and assist rural revitalization.

By giving full play to the advantages of local superior fishery and breeding resources, the project promotes the coupled development of photovoltaic and traditional aquaculture, and creates a three-dimensional circulation industrial model of "generating electricity at the top and raising fish at the bottom", which not only achieves efficient development of clean energy, but also realizes The composite utilization of the original aquaculture fish ponds provides a model that can be used for reference and promoted for subsequent local centralized photovoltaic power station projects with complementary fishing and light.

In recent years, Huaneng Group has adhered to the integrated development idea of "wind, light, fire and nuclear storage" in Fujian and accelerated the planning of a large new energy base. Zhangzhou Green Energy Base is an important part of Huaneng Group's "East Line" strategy and the main position for Huaneng Fujian Company's transformation and development. The start of this project marks another solid step forward for Huaneng to build a Zhangzhou green energy base with high quality. It is of great significance to building a "Huaneng Southeast Headquarters Base" with high quality and comprehensively creating a new situation for the development of Huaneng's undertakings in Fujian.
