Since 2021, State Grid Mengdong Electric Power has maintained an average annual growth of 18% in new energy installed capacity, while its new energy utilization rate has remained stable at a high level of around 97%. In 2023, State Grid Mengdong Electric Power will start construction of Tongliao 2.38 million kilowatts of new energy transmission projects, put into operation all the first batch of 9 million kilowatts large-scale wind and photovoltaic base projects, and put into operation 52 projects such as 500 kV Bahrain-Naiman. The Mengdong platform-type power grid has taken shape, with a cross-provincial and external power transmission capacity reaching 56 million kilowatts, and an annual external power transmission capacity of 183.5 billion kilowatts, becoming the provincial-level company with the largest annual external power transmission volume in the country.
