Key projects have been comprehensively promoted

This year, Ningxia Electric Power Development Investment will reach 10.34 billion yuan, a record high. Ningxia Power Grid will also usher in a "double peak" in the construction of UHV power grids and conventional power transmission and transformation projects. Among them, the company's power grid project will focus on the construction of major projects in the autonomous region, focusing on serving the realization of the "double carbon" goal and the construction of new power systems, and promoting the improvement of people's livelihood and economic and social development.

"Our project started construction on April 17, 2023. Currently, 90% of the civil engineering progress and 30% of the electrical construction progress have been completed. All work is progressing as planned and it is expected to be completed and put into operation in June this year." China's first ultra-high voltage project, mainly to transport new energy from the "Shago Desert"-the Ningxia section of the ±800 kilovolt high-voltage project from Ningxia to Hunan, has fully resumed work on March 6. The Ningxia section of the DC line will be fully completed before the end of the year. This year, Ningxia Electric Power will also start the construction of 750 kV DC supporting projects such as Tiandushan and Gantang, and simultaneously promote the approval of 750 kV Beacon, Minning, Xiling and Xingtang projects, and the optimization of 750 kV Qingshan Line. Nine projects will also be completed and put into operation before the end of the year. By then, the grid structure of Ningxia Power Grid will be stronger, and the supply guarantee capacity of Ningxia Power Grid will continue to improve, providing reliable guarantee for the economic and social development of the autonomous region and the construction of key projects.

New energy development sails again

On March 11, State Grid Ningdong Power Supply Company successfully completed the review of the access system of two decentralized wind power projects including the State Power Investment Corporation Huianbao 9.4 MW, which means that more decentralized wind power projects will be born in Ningxia in the future.

At the beginning of this year, Ningxia Electric Power launched a special research campaign for grid-connected consumption of new energy, and planned and constructed a number of supporting projects to ensure that new energy projects can be merged. Relying on digital platforms such as "New Energy Cloud" and "Online Grid", Ningxia Electric Power Power Supply Companies in various cities and cities have accelerated their work processes, strengthened communication and coordination with new energy stations and relevant departments, and effectively added 10 million kilowatts in 2024. Grid connection work of new energy. At the same time, Ningxia Electric Power will also implement power grid projects such as the reconnection of 750-kilovolt regional power lines to solve the problem of blocked new energy delivery in local areas.

Plug in green electricity to play a strong sound to store the momentum of development. In recent years, Ningxia's energy storage has accelerated its development and become a new "dark horse". As of the end of 2023, Ningxia's energy storage scale has reached 2.865 million kilowatts, ranking among the top in the country. This year, Ningxia Electric Power will continue to vigorously promote the construction of new energy storage, promote large-scale application of energy storage, and ensure that the installed capacity of energy storage in the autonomous region reaches 4 million kilowatts by the end of the year.

The construction of Minning's "Green Electricity Town" is a hot topic of concern from all walks of life this year. On February 29, Ningxia Electric Power organized and held a meeting to promote the construction of the Minning "Green Electricity Town" demonstration project. Since its launch in 2023, the construction of the project has been steadily advanced. Among them, seven power grid investment projects, including the Minning Town Energy Router Low-Voltage Microgrid Construction Project, have been completed and put into operation. This year will enter the comprehensive project construction stage and will be completed and put into operation within the year.

Strong internal forces in distribution network construction

On the night of March 18, the State Grid Yinchuan Power Supply Company of Jinfeng District organized personnel to renovate the branch box at No. 2-1 Qingxiang Street and replace it with a new intelligent ring network cabinet. This renovation project not only increases the outgoing line interval, but also improves the power supply reliability of communities such as Liyuan South Second District, Anyayuan and Qingxiang Home around Jinfeng District. At the same time, the reliability of relay protection actions in nearby old factories will also be greatly improved.

This year, in order to comprehensively solve typical power supply problems such as heavy overload and low voltage in some distribution networks in Ningxia, and at the same time promote the friendly access of multiple entities such as electric vehicles, new energy storage, and distributed photovoltaics, Ningxia Electric Power invested 3.36 billion yuan to vigorously implement power distribution. Special research actions for network planning, construction and transformation.

In terms of distribution network optimization, Ningxia Electric Power will use the layout of 330/220 kV substation as the support to coordinate the development of upper and lower power grids, optimize and upgrade important backbone grid grids, promote mutual matching and mutual support at all levels, and gradually form a chain structure. A grid structure based on structure and reasonable configuration of other types of grid grids. In terms of new distribution network projects, Ningxia Electric Power will invest 608 million yuan this year to build 4 35-kilovolt substations and 5 new 110-kilovolt substations. By accelerating the construction of substation layout, we can meet the needs of new load access, target grid construction, and new energy grid connection. At the same time, we will promote the implementation of four 330 kV power transmission and transformation projects, including Hongyang and Xiaohe, and support the construction of 110 kV power grid grids in remote rural areas such as Guyuan and Zhongwei. Solve problems such as 110 kV long-distance power supply and multi-level tandem power supply, meet large-scale distributed power supply and new load access needs such as "coal-to-electricity","gas-to-electricity", and charging piles, improve regional power supply reliability and withstand large-scale power outage risk capabilities have injected new impetus into the construction of Ningxia's new power system.
