The country's first wind exhaust gas, heat, power and power co-generation carbon emission reduction project connected to the grid for power generation

On March 31, the second phase of the steam turbine power generation project of China Coal Shanxi Company's Yuanxiang Coal Mine Low-Concentration Gas Comprehensive Utilization Project was completed and connected to the grid for power generation, marking the official completion and operation of the country's first wind exhaust gas cogeneration carbon emission reduction project. The project has a power supply capacity of 24 million kilowatt-hours/year, a pure standard gas volume of about 18 million cubic meters/year, a carbon dioxide emission reduction of 290,000 tons/year, an industrial output value of about 27 million yuan/year, and a carbon emission reduction benefit of about 23 million yuan/year. The annual heat and electricity consumption of coal mines can be saved by nearly 20 million yuan, which greatly reduces the production cost of enterprises, and actively opens up a green development path of coal mines that "produces carbon but not discharges carbon".
The project uses a number of innovative technologies. The project is equipped with two thermal storage and oxidation devices with 120,000 Nm3/h German EISENMANN vertical rotary oxidation technology. They are currently the largest single capacity thermal storage and oxidation devices in the domestic gas utilization field, and for the first time, the dual-machine-dual-stage cogeneration system is used in the field of low-concentration gas thermal storage and oxidation, realizing cascade utilization of gas source, steam quality, and terminal waste heat. The project also provides more than 30 local jobs.
