Recently, the PCT patent "Faulty early-warning method and system applied to gas turbine unit, and apparatus" applied by the Turbine and Gas Turbine Research Center of Huadian Electric Power Research Institute was officially authorized by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). The successful authorization of this patent marks an important breakthrough for Huadian Group in the field of gas turbine unit fault warning.

This technology adopts a Kriging interpolation method based on improved basis functions and combines multiple mechanism models to realize accurate identification of abnormal operating data in real-time monitoring data of gas turbine units. By comparing and screening the errors between calculated data and observed data, the efficiency and accuracy of fault warning are further improved, computing efficiency is greatly improved, and the false alarm rate of fault warning is effectively reduced. It provides strong technical support for the safe and stable operation of the gas turbine unit.

In recent years, Huadian Electric Power Research Institute has continuously made major breakthroughs in core technology research in the field of gas turbines, and original leading results have emerged one after another. It has completed the first domestic manufacturing and on-hook operation of the first-stage moving blades of E-class gas turbines. It has achieved the first time in China that the gas turbine TCS control system has been manufactured in China, and the first time in China that the industry-level independent controllable platform "Gas Turbine Smart Operation and Maintenance Cloud Platform" has been built in China. At the same time, it has authorized 36 patents and 13 software copyrights in related fields; edited 13 national and industry standards; and won more than 10 provincial and ministerial awards such as the China Electricity Council Electric Power Innovation Award and the Electric Power Employee Innovation Award.
