On April 6, local time, the Dutch International Company relied on local oil depot resources to conduct ship refueling operations for ultra-low sulfur fuel oil at the Port of Rotterdam, the Netherlands, refuel more than 2000 tons through time charter barges. This is the first time that PetroChina has launched ultra-low sulfur fuel tanker refueling business in Europe, marking a further extension of the business value chain of international business companies and laying a good foundation for continued expansion of the European market.

As the largest and busiest port in Europe, the Port of Rotterdam ranks first in Europe and second in the world for ship refuelling capacity. After a year of hard preparation, the Dutch company communicated with the local customs many times, sorted out the process procedures, and cleared multiple blockages. Relying on the company's strong business strength and standardized management, in October 2023, it was issued by the Dutch Customs for ship refuelling. Relevant licenses and licenses to achieve breakthrough progress in the preparation of ship refuelling business.

Under the overall coordination of the refined oil unit of the international business company and the London company, the Dutch company efficiently completed mid-office capacity building and customer credit granting, and made a business promotion in authoritative media in the Dutch ship refueling industry at the beginning of this year. A series of actions attracted consultation from many international shipowners. Finally, the Dutch company reached a cooperation with China Shipfuel Europe Company to provide ultra-low sulfur fuel oil filling services for a Greek shipowner.

Since its operation in 2021, the Dutch company has always actively practiced the concept of green and low-carbon development and achieved many results. It has obtained dual certification from the European Union and the International Civil Aviation Organization, and has qualifications for bio-aviation fuel trade and operation. Following the sales and sales of the first ship of biological jet fuel in 2022, the Dutch company will supply adjusted biological jet fuel to Dutch Airlines for the first time in 2023, and completed the first power green certificate transaction this year, with fruitful results.

In the next step, Dutch companies will continue to actively expand the European new energy market, focus on developing bioship fuel filling and green charging pile businesses, and promote the comprehensive development of green energy in the sea, land and air fields.
