Comply to and from work every day, driving new energy vehicles, and commuting from my hometown in rural areas to the gas station. The fields are flat, the roads are wide, and the scenery is full of spring, summer, autumn and winter. On the way forward, three generations of our family drove three types of vehicles and rolled over the same rut.

In 2015, after graduating from Ningxia University, I came to Ningxia Sales Zhongwei Branch and became a fuelman. At this point, my grandfather, my father and I have dedicated our youth and strength to the development of Ningxia sales in different periods.

Compared with my grandfather and father, I have caught up with the good times. I have the highest academic qualifications and the best living environment and working conditions. In 2021, I purchased a new energy vehicle to facilitate commuting and serving customers. It was this year that I received my first honor after joining the job and was named the "Advanced Individual" of Zhongwei Branch.

While working at the Ximen Gas Station, my grandfather came to visit me on an electric tricycle. I happily took him to visit gas stations and convenience stores, and introduced silent refueling guns, oil and gas recovery devices, double-layer storage tanks, etc. Grandpa's eyes were full of "unexpected", and his expression changed from doubts to surprises one after another. He felt the development and changes of the gas station as a service window.

The 85-year-old grandfather has experienced the development and changes of oil supply from supply stations to gas stations. He has felt the technological progress from "sucking oil in one's mouth" to "not smelling oil", and has witnessed the transformation from "selling oil by the pound" to "wisdom refueling".

Grandpa used to be a rural oil delivery boy. During the spring plowing and autumn harvest seasons, he rode a Phoenix bicycle on rural roads to deliver oil to the fields. The heavy oil drum tied to the back seat of the bicycle made the wheel spokes creak. In the fields of hope, my grandfather loaded and unloaded oil countless times to fuel agricultural production and help farmers harvest harvests. He enjoyed it.

In 1996, my father "inherited his father's career" and once again embarked on this oil delivery route, becoming a fuelman at Zhongwei Xuanhe Gas Station. Just as enterprises and localities were jointly carrying out rectification of the refined oil market, my father joined the management team to crack down on private oil sales. He rode a Big Red Eagle motorcycle on the rugged road of ensuring supply and counterfeiting. He set off in the chilly early morning, galloped in the scorching afternoon, and hid in the scared night.

My father often told me, a "latecomer", that when he first joined the job, it took at least an hour to change shifts. In addition to copying the table codes, he also had to convert them based on the temperature and oil density of the day. Things are different now. Technology empowers refueling, and innovation leads the trend. Four fuel dispensers are equipped with 24 fuel guns. It only takes one or two minutes to fill a box of fuel, and quick handover can take 5 minutes. Data processing, business operations, etc. It's all done with a click of the mouse. Gratifying changes have taken place in all aspects.

Dad laughs and says:"Your grandfather broke two bicycle tires in three months in order to deliver oil to the production team. In order to crack down on illicit oil, I ran down a Dahongying motorcycle. And you are amazing, driving a new energy vehicle to develop and serve customers. On the road to ensuring supply, three generations of our family have used different ways of moving and always run towards the same goal!"

Today, under Helan Mountain and on the banks of the Yellow River, mountains, waters, roads, cities, villages, and standing stations are changing. Only the original mission of the oil suppliers has not changed.
