According to reports, Vucic said in a video posted on social media: "I would like to express my special thanks to President Putin for assuring me that Russia will provide Serbia with a sufficient amount of natural gas this winter."

Reportedly, Vucic reiterated during his call with Putin that Serbia will not change its stance on not participating in sanctions against Russia.

Vucic said, "Serbia will not impose sanctions on the Russian Federation. This will not change."

The report states that Putin invited Vucic to attend the BRICS Leaders' Meeting in Kazan from the 22nd to the 23rd of this month last month, and Russia is awaiting Vucic's response to this invitation. Vucic said he would announce his decision by the 21st of this month at the latest.
