Xinhua News Agency, Nanjing, [Month] [Day] - The results of the "City (District) with the Strongest Entrepreneurial Happiness" survey and selection were announced in Taicang, Jiangsu. Cities and districts including Hangzhou, Chengdu, Minhang District of Shanghai, and Tianhe District of Guangzhou were elected.

Entrepreneurial well-being is an important indicator for measuring urban happiness. Based on the Most Happiness City Survey and Selection Activity, Outlook Oriental Weekly, in collaboration with Baidu, developed an Entrepreneurial Well-being Index Model, which includes primary indicators such as business efficiency and cost, policy environment, and public services, as well as dozens of sub-indicators. Through big data collection and other methods, the survey and selection identified the "City (District) with the Strongest Entrepreneurial Well-being."

After investigation and selection, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Suzhou, Ningbo, Taizhou, Wenzhou, Changsha, Qingdao, Yibin, and Taizhou were selected as the "Cities with the Strongest Entrepreneurial Happiness" (prefecture-level and above cities); Taicang City, Jiangsu Province, Minhang District, Shanghai, Tianhe District, Guangzhou, Yinzhou District, Ningbo, Shuangliu District, Chengdu, Yueqing City, Zhejiang Province, Ejin Horo Banner, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Lin'an District, Hangzhou, Ruian City, Zhejiang Province, Ningxiang City, Hunan Province, and Rongcheng City, Shandong Province were selected as the "Districts (Cities) with the Strongest Entrepreneurial Happiness" (urban districts and county-level cities).

At the Entrepreneurial Well-being and Business Environment Dialogue event held that day, Vice Chairman of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and renowned economist Gu Shengzu was invited to attend online and deliver a speech. Yuan Bingzhong, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Xinhua News Agency, stated in his speech at the event that as long as the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship is upheld, which includes daring to take the lead, persevering through setbacks, and freeing the mind, Chinese cities and enterprises will more effectively support the people's pursuit of a happy life and a bright future on the journey to develop new forms of productive forces.

National People's Congress Deputy, Chairman and President of Gree Electric Appliances, Dong Mingzhu, stated during an exchange: "The government's concern brings happiness to entrepreneurs, and contributing to the nation while continuously innovating to better meet consumer needs brings even greater happiness to entrepreneurs."

During the dialogue event, entrepreneurs, city managers, and experts from across the country engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as promoting entrepreneurial spirit, developing new quality productive forces, enhancing entrepreneurial well-being, and optimizing the business environment.

The Most Happiness-Inducing City Survey and Selection Campaign has been held consecutively for years, with nearly a hundred cities having been selected in total.
