TASS reported that Peskov told reporters that Russia maintains contact with all parties involved in the Middle East conflict, including Israel, Iran, Lebanon, and other relevant parties. "If our efforts are effective in certain areas, then Russia is willing to do so," he added.

According to Russian media outlets such as RIA Novosti, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated during an event that "the combat operations that began in Gaza a year ago have now spread to Lebanon, affecting other countries in the region, and the confrontation between Israel and Iran has escalated sharply. This is like a chain reaction, placing the entire Middle East on the brink of a full-scale war."

TASS also reported that on a certain date, Putin stated that there was a possibility of a compromise solution between Israel and Iran, and Russia could assist in this regard. Putin also mentioned that the situation was severe, and Russia was in contact with both Israel and Iran, hoping that both sides would at some point cease the "endless mutual strikes" and find a solution satisfactory to both parties.
