The report states that the stolen bullets were blank rounds, resulting in no injuries, and the soldier was subsequently taken away for investigation.

Regarding this matter, the head of the Taiwan defense department, Koo Kwang-ming, responded that the Taiwanese military is currently undergoing a practical combat-oriented transformation, and it is appropriate to issue rifles to soldiers. The new recruit who fired the shot carrying the firearm with him is not an issue.
