From November 5th to 10th, the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE), themed "New Era, Shared Future," was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). This year's CIIE featured an overall exhibition area exceeding 360,000 square meters, with participation from over 3,400 companies, including 500 Fortune Global 500 enterprises and industry leaders, as well as nearly 300 purchasing groups from multiple countries, marking a record high in the number of participants.

The signing ceremony for exhibitors of the 8th CIIE was held during the 7th CIIE Exhibitor Alliance Conference on a certain date. Companies and institutions such as Nan Chiao, Mercedes-Benz, Zeiss, Estée Lauder Group, Bayer, Doterra, and Kao Corporation have "reserved" their spots for the 8th CIIE, with a total contracted exhibition area of nearly 10,000 square meters.

Thomas Geisel, a member of the Board of Management of Mercedes-Benz Group AG, which has signed up early for the 8th CIIE, admitted that the CIIE has developed into one of the most prominent expos in the world, reflecting China's continuous efforts to advance high-level opening-up and strengthen international trade cooperation, as well as showcasing the innovative vitality and long-term potential of the Chinese market.

Estée Lauder Companies was also among those who secured their tickets to the 8th CIIE early. "The CIIE gives us an opportunity to introduce new brands and products to consumers. Every year, we showcase new brand products that have not yet entered the Chinese market, offering consumers the chance to try them out, and we hope to gain valuable feedback through this," said Fabrice Weber, President and CEO of Estée Lauder Companies China. "The continuous participation of Estée Lauder Companies in the CIIE can be seen as growing together with the expo. The CIIE not only provides Estée Lauder Companies with an important opportunity to deepen its understanding of the Chinese market and Chinese consumers but also offers consumers the chance to get in touch with new brands and products from the group."

As a "full-time participant" for seven consecutive years at the CIIE, global medical technology company Medtronic has also signed up for the eighth CIIE. This year's CIIE sees Medtronic showcasing a range of debut products, including those making their global, Asia-Pacific, and China debuts. "Through the CIIE, an open window, we feel the boundless opportunities in the Chinese market," said Gu Yushao, Global Senior Vice President and President of Greater China at Medtronic. "For Medtronic, China is a significant strategic market, and we firmly believe that China will become the world's largest medical market. Medtronic has deepened its good cooperation with various partners by leveraging the CIIE as a robust bridge."

The China International Import Expo Bureau stated that the recruitment for the 8th CIIE has been launched this month.
