In rural revitalization, talents come first. This year's No. 1 Document of the Central Committee proposed to strengthen the team of rural talents, and through policy support, entrepreneurship guidance, financial incentives and other measures to form a talent agglomeration effect in which foreign youth return home and local youth rejuvenate their villages, so as to promote the return of talents.

In Guangdong, the "hot land" that once raised returnees is turning into a "fertile land" for returning home to start businesses. The young people in the village are back, rural revitalization has new power, and a "two-way rush" between the countryside and young people is slowly unfolding in the fields.

Returning home to start a business is wide

Some time ago, Ye Weirong, a young entrepreneur from Futian Town, Boluo County, Huizhou City, appeared on the hot search on Weibo.

In December 2022, Ye Weirong and his partners established their own tent camp next to a stream near Lanmen Village B & B. As more and more people learn about Futian Town, the camp is often filled with tourists from surrounding cities to experience pastoral life.

In his spare time, Ye Weirong always likes to walk around the village. He likes to hear people call him "Professor Ye" most."I hope I am a qualified professor to teach the villagers in Futian to develop cultural tourism together."

The continuous advancement of the "Rural Revitalization Demonstration Belt around Luofushan" has further explored Futian Town's geographical advantages and cultural and tourism connotations. With the implementation of rural revitalization projects, their driving effects began to appear. The improvement of the living and cultural environment and the increase in the number of tourists have also attracted more young people to return to their hometowns for development.

"When I was 20 years old, I wanted to go outside to find a bigger world, and now I find that the bigger world is in my hometown." Also returning to his hometown to start a business is Chen Jiajin, a restaurant owner born in the 1990s. He runs the largest takeout platform in the region and is also a well-known local entrepreneur.

Chen Jiajin told the China Economic Times reporter that more and more young people are returning to their hometowns to start businesses. His peers who used to work hard in cities such as Guangzhou and Shenzhen have also begun to contact him to inquire about the employment and entrepreneurial environment in his hometown.

According to Luo Zhicong, deputy secretary of the Futian Town Party Committee, in order to support young people returning to their hometowns to start businesses, Futian Town launched the "Fuyan Return to Nest" project. He said,"A group of young talents who have recognition and affection for their hometown return to their hometown to start businesses. We
