On March 21, 2024, the centralized ground-breaking ceremony of the key projects in March 2024 in Yumen City and the Gansu Xingchen Huarui All Vanadium Reflux Energy Storage Battery Project kicked off grandly.

It has a vast territory, rich power resources, superior development conditions, and complete industrial foundation. With the strong support of the Yumen Municipal Government of Jiuquan City, Xingchen Xinneng will start with the launch of the project, promote project construction with high quality and at a fast pace, and help Jiuquan City and Yumen City create a new benchmark for green energy applications.

In 2023, China's total installed capacity of renewable energy will reach 1.45 billion kilowatts, accounting for more than 50% of the country's total installed power generation, becoming a new force in ensuring power supply. However, due to the intermittent fluctuation characteristics of renewable energy,"new energy + energy storage" has become an inevitable choice for building a new energy system. As an important new method of energy storage, all-vanadium redox flow batteries have unique characteristics of intrinsic safety, long life, high flexibility and resource recycling, and are favored by the market.

The Gansu Xingchen Huarui All-Vanadium Reflux Energy Storage Battery Project started this time will successively build an all-vanadium Reflux Energy Storage Production System Base with an annual output of 2GWh and an all-vanadium Reflux R & D and testing center, fully automated stacks and key raw material production center, etc.

After the completion of the project, it will surely become a new "chain owner" of the all-vanadium liquid energy storage industry chain in Jiuquan City, Yumen City and even Gansu, and an important leader in the new energy storage industry in the Northwest Landscape Base, injecting new impetus into the realization of regional economic transformation and sustainable development in the Northwest region.

Since its establishment in 2021, Xingchen Xinneng has always promoted the development of the entire industrial chain with an integrated vertical layout. First, self-sustaining high-quality vanadium ore, controlling costs starting from raw materials, and ensuring the stability and reliability of supply; second, building a short-process electrolyte production base to significantly reduce manufacturing expenses and intermediate feeding. At the same time, the world's first fully automated all-vanadium redox flow battery production line has been built in Changzhou, which has rich supporting facilities in the industrial chain, effectively ensuring the consistency level of flow battery products, establishing a flexible production intelligent manufacturing system and a digital system for the full life cycle of products, and significantly reducing production costs.

The implementation of Xingchen Xinneng All-Vanadium Liquid Flow Energy Storage Industrial Park in Yumen City, Jiuquan City is an important practice for Xingchen Xinneng to consolidate the advantages of the entire industrial chain and develop integrated ideas. In the future, this industrial park project will attract more upstream and downstream enterprises in the all-vanadium flow battery energy storage system industry chain to form the largest vanadium energy storage industry cluster in China.
