In places such as the Chengdu Materials Institute, Jiade Precision Manufacturing, Xichang Steel & Vanadium, Panzhihua Steel Plate Plant, and Panzhihua Rail Beam Plant, the youth witnessed the entire process from raw materials to intermediate billets and then to precision-formed parts, deeply realizing the formation and strong driving force of new productive forces in practice for high-quality development. At the Panzhihua City Origin Museum, the youth visited the origin, reflected on their journey, pondered their original intentions, and committed to fulfilling the requirements of the Party Central Committee and the Group Party Committee for young researchers. They vowed to learn from the spirit of their predecessors who fought against nature and were not afraid of sacrifice, transforming themselves into billets and forging into fine steel at Ansteel, dedicating their lives to supporting Ansteel's development and promoting the prosperity of the motherland. At the Dongfang Electric Corporation, the youth visited production workshops and learned about the scientific and technological achievements in the high-end hydropower and high-end thermal power industries. After years of innovative development, Dongfang Electric now boasts the most comprehensive range of hydroelectric generator sets in the industry. At the Zhulan Iron Mine Base, young people visited and studied the current state of large-scale application of unmanned mining in the entire mining process, including drilling, blasting, shoveling, transportation, and unloading. Through firsthand experience, they gained a practical understanding of the innovative concept of "Implementing the Digital China Strategy + Empowering Smart Mines" and truly felt the disruptive impact of mechanization, automation, informatization, and intelligence on traditional industries.

At the Panzhihua Steel Symposium, the youth committees from four regions conducted in-depth and detailed exchanges on the recent progress of the Communist Youth League and youth work, talent cultivation, team building, and the integration of research and production. The youth engaged in in-depth discussions on both sides' involvement in the field of special materials. It was profoundly recognized that technological innovation is the core element of developing new quality productive forces.
