On the first day of the 15th China Airshow, the Chinese Air Force showcased the "hard goods" - the Y- transport aircraft. This marked the first time the cargo hold of the Y- was displayed and open for public reservation to visit. The audience formed long lines in front of the Y-, eagerly anticipating a "zero-distance" encounter with the "Fat Girl." Many lucky visitors exclaimed, "I've boarded the 'Fat Girl'!"

Chief Designer Tang Changhong even acted as a "tour guide," reminding everyone: "When you step into 'Fat Girl,' don't forget to look at the floors and the fuselage to see how much ingenuity there is." He explained: "The fuselage skin of the Y- is very smooth, and the shape of the wing surface represents the highest development technology suitable for high subsonic flight. The cargo hold floor of the Y- can complete configuration conversion within tens of minutes, transforming from a double-layer to a single-layer cabin, from paratroopers to armed personnel. We also welcome everyone to offer better suggestions for subsequent improvements and upgrades."
