The China Coal Industry Association released the "2023 Coal Industry Development Annual Report" in Beijing. The average annual raw coal output increased by 4.5% from 2020 to 2023, of which it reached 4.71 billion tons in 2023.

3月28日，中国煤炭工业协会在京发布《2023煤炭行业发展年度报告》（以下简称《报告》），《报告》对2023年煤炭发展状况做出概括，并对2024年的煤炭市场走势进行了预测。
《报告》显示，“十四五”以来，全国新增煤炭产能6亿吨/年左右，2020至2023年期间年均原煤产量增长4.5%，Among them, it will reach 4.71 billion tons in 2023. 《报告》显示，In 2023, the revenue of coal enterprises above designated size nationwide will reach 3.5 trillion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 13.1%; the total profit will reach 762.89 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 25.3%. 《报告》预测，2024年全国煤炭供应体系质量提升、应急保供能力增强，煤炭市场供需将保持基本稳定。尽管如此，也可能因为出现极端天气、突发事件、新能源出力等不确定性因素，导致出现区域性、时段性或者品种性的煤炭供需错配的情况。
