Bloomberg New Energy Finance released the ranking of new installed capacity of global wind turbine manufacturers in 2023. Among them, Goldwind Technology ranked first with a new installed capacity of 16.4GW. Yuanjing Energy's new installed capacity reached 15.4GW, jumping from fourth to second place.

On March 27, Bloomberg New Energy Finance released the ranking of new installed capacity of global wind turbine manufacturers in 2023. Data shows that the new installed capacity of global wind power in 2023 will be 118GW, an increase of 36% compared with 2022. Among them, the installed capacity of onshore wind power was 107GW, a year-on-year increase of 37%; the installed capacity of offshore wind power was 11GW, a year-on-year increase of 25%. The growth in global wind power installed capacity in 2023 mainly comes from the strong installed capacity of 77GW in the Chinese market.

Data shows that Chinese companies include four seats among the top five global wind turbine manufacturers in new capacity. Goldwind Technology ranked first with a new installed capacity of 16.4GW. Yuanjing Energy's new installed capacity reached 15.4GW, jumping from fourth to second place. Danish complete machine manufacturer Vestas ranks third with a new installed capacity of 13.4GW and is the only European complete machine manufacturer to enter the top five. Yunda Shares and Mingyang Intelligent ranked fourth and fifth respectively.

In 2023, China's wind power market will show a positive trend. In 2023, the new hoisting capacity of China's wind power will be 77.1GW, setting a record high, an increase of 58% compared with 2022. Among them, onshore wind power added 69.4GW, a year-on-year increase of 59%; offshore wind power added 7.6GW, a year-on-year increase of 48%.

In addition to the local market, Chinese complete machine manufacturers are accelerating their expansion into overseas markets. In 2023, the new installed capacity of Chinese complete machine manufacturers overseas will be 1.7GW. These projects are spread across 20 markets around the world, including five EU member states. The number of overseas markets in which Chinese complete machine manufacturers will install installed capacity in 2023 will be 2018 Nearly three times. Among them, Goldwind Technology has the largest number of new installed capacity overseas in 2023, reaching 748MW. Yuanjing Energy ranks second with 561MW of new installed capacity in overseas markets.
