On March 19, a vehicle collision occurred on the campus of Taizhou Vocational and Technical College in Zhejiang Province. According to the police reported that the incident on the same day, 19 people were injured, three of whom died after ineffective rescue. The rest of the people were in stable condition.

该学院的小王同学19日晚在学院东门附近告诉记者，肇事车辆冲撞的起点位于校内综合楼和学生公寓5之间，这个位置伤亡人数较多，因为是学生放学吃饭、拿快递的必经之路。另一位小胡同学说，车子最后撞在行道树上停下。两人并非目击者，上述信息是听同学说的。
对于为什么校园内有学生开车，该校的小郑同学20日下午告诉记者，住校生不可以申请开车进校，走读生可以向学校申请，但获批比较困难，他曾尝试申请，一直没通过，“就算通过了，在学校最快也只能开到时速20公里，事件发生地是机动车禁行区域。”

Mr. Zhao, a family member of a victim of the collision, told reporters on the 20th that he received a WeChat call from his daughter at around 11:30 on the 19th, saying that he had been hit by a car. He quickly asked his daughter to call 120.
Because the phone was quite noisy at the time, he thought that only his daughter was hit, but when he rushed to the hospital, he found that there were many injured people lying there who had been hit like his daughter.
Mr. Zhao's daughter is in a freshman year. When he received his daughter's call, he was at his company in Linhai City, Taizhou. When he heard the news, he immediately called relatives and friends and drove to Jiaojiang District. On the way, he received a call from his daughter's class teacher and learned that his daughter had been taken to Taizhou City Central Hospital.
At about 13:00, he met his daughter in the hospital. Two bones in her calf were fractured and underwent surgery that day. Mr. Zhao said that if there is no inflammation or redness, a steel plate can be applied after half a month.

According to official website information, Taizhou Vocational and Technical College was approved for establishment in 2001. Since then, Taizhou Industrial School and Zhejiang Trade and Economics School have been merged successively. The college has 12 secondary colleges with 12,000 full-time students. The campus where the collision occurred is located on Xueyuan Road, Jiaojiang District.
Taizhou City Central Hospital is more than 1 kilometer away from the east gate of the college. On the morning of the 20th, The Paper News encountered Mr. Li, whose daughter was injured in the incident, at the entrance of the critical medicine department on the second floor of Area A of the inpatient department. He said that his daughter is a freshman and is still in the ICU. There are two other injured people in the accident.
Mr. Li is from the urban area of Taizhou. When the class teacher called to say that his daughter had an accident, he immediately rushed to the hospital with his family. After his daughter was sent to the ICU, he waited at the door all night. He had not seen his daughter until 10:00 on the 20th. He heard from the doctor that he had a concussion. Mr. Li said that there were two other classmates in the intensive care unit with his daughter. While waiting, he heard that one classmate was awake, had a broken hand and an intravenous drip in the other hand. He also asked his family for his mobile phone."I hope my daughter is also lucky."
On the evening of the 20th, the reporter called Mr. Li again. He said in a low voice that his daughter had a concussion and nerve damage, and hurriedly hung up the phone.
