Ivan Caddeo, President of Italy-China Business Development Forum, said, the registration of more than 27,000 new companies on average everyday, over 80,000 automobiles offline, online sales of products about 5 billion US dollars, and nearly 300 million packages delivered in China all within 24 hours, indicate the importance, potential and size of Chinese market, and Italian enterprises should follow the example of Marco Polo to China, and explore this country. Mario Boselli, President of Italy-China Council Foundation, said Chinese market can't be missed, and called on Italian companies to seize Chinese opportunities, actively invest in China, and achieve better development in China. Bo Xijun, Chairman of Chengdu Beirun Technology, shared his experience of successful development in China as an Italian SME. He said that China has all the time attached great importance to protection of intellectual property rights, continuously improved business environment, and provide strong support and help for the investment and development of Italian SMEs in China. Italian SMEs can feel assured to invest in China and grasp the opportunity of development.

Representatives from local governments, industrial parks, and enterprises in Jiangsu Province, Sichuan Province, Chaoyang District of Beijing, Changning District of Shanghai, and other regions vividly introduced their local resources, advantageous industries, business environment, and investment opportunities in Chinese, English, and Italian. This attracted strong interest from the Italian companies present at the event. After the meeting, the Chinese government, industrial parks, and enterprises had in-depth exchanges and discussions with Italian companies on key industries such as fashion, equipment manufacturing, and energy-saving and environmental protection.
