After the opening of the "Expo Center - Qianhaiwan Subway Station" line, the train frequency will be 10-15 minutes/hour during morning and evening rush hours, and 25 minutes/hour during off-peak hours, with 14 vehicles in operation. Within Zhongshan, this bus hub will have 16 bus routes connecting to various towns and streets. Residents can take one bus to reach the Expo Center and then take the Shenzhen-Zhongshan cross-city bus to Shenzhen.

In the future, unified transportation organization planning will be carried out for bus hub stations and Shenzhen-China Aviation Airport operations. Design traffic routes such as buses, taxis, and airport buses, and divide areas such as bus drop-off, taxi drop-off, and airport bus drop-off.

Shuttle buses through the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Channel
Tolls are expected to be waived

According to reports, the Zhongshan Municipal Transport Department announced earlier that the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Cross-city Bus Service will be launched concurrently with the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link. Previously, a document published on the official website of the Zhongshan Municipal Development and Reform Commission also made it clear that, after the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link is open to traffic, the two cities will actively explore exempting shuttle buses from tolls; the number of routes and bus services will also be increased in order to facilitate convenient travel for residents of both cities.

The Cooperation Agreement on Transportation Integration between Shenzhen and Zhongshan signed this year also mentions jointly coordinating relevant departments in Guangdong Province to provide toll discounts on the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Channel for large and medium-sized buses operating in Shenzhen and Zhongshan. This will further facilitate "dual-city living" in the Greater Bay Area city cluster.
