The website of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security released the news on the afternoon of April 3:The State Council appoints and removes state functionaries. Xu Chang was appointed deputy director of the Counselor Office of the State Council; Wu Xi (female) was appointed deputy director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council; and Huo Xiaoguang was appointed deputy director of Xinhua News Agency.

Zhao Bing was removed from the post of deputy director of the State Council Counselor Office.
