The Israeli military released video footage on the night of the operation showing the actions of Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) leader Sinwar in underground tunnels before his death.
Israeli military spokesperson Hagar said that these videos were discovered by the Israeli military in the Gaza Strip several months ago.

The Israeli military stated that Sinwar and his family entered the underground tunnels in the Gaza Strip the night before the Hamas attack on Israel on the specified date last year.
Intelligence indicates that over the past year, Sinwar spent most of his time in underground tunnels between Khan Younis and Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, occasionally appearing on the surface accompanied by bodyguards.
In addition to necessities, Sinwar also transported weapons, money, and documents to the underground tunnels.
The IDF also found a sample of his on a tissue that Sinwar had used to wipe his nose.
The Israel Defense Forces and the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) issued a joint statement late on the night that Sinwar had been killed in the IDF's operations in the Gaza Strip.
The statement says that Sinwar "orchestrated and implemented" the attack by Hamas militants in Israel on the specified date last year.
Hamas issued a statement confirming the death of Sinwar.
