The Annual Conference on Trends in Medical Insurance Fund Supervision and the Launch of the Blue Book was held in Beijing on a certain date, releasing the "Development Report on the Supervision and Management of China's Medical Security Fund (2018-2022)". From the launch event, it was learned that the National Healthcare Security Administration's flight inspections have covered all provinces nationwide, inspecting designated medical and pharmaceutical institutions. From January to May this year, medical insurance funds totaling 1.66 billion yuan were recovered by medical insurance departments at all levels across the country. In the next step, the National Healthcare Security Administration will continue to exert efforts in expanding the scope of flight inspections, implementing self-inspection and self-correction, strengthening big data-based supervision, improving long-term mechanisms, and increasing exposure, resolutely safeguarding the security of medical insurance funds.
