At the regular press conference held by the Ministry of Commerce on the date, spokesperson He Yadong, while introducing the preparations for the 7th China International Import Expo, stated that currently, the exhibits of many participating enterprises have already entered the exhibition halls, while those of several others are still in transit and are expected to arrive at the exhibition halls before the date.

Under the theme "New Era, Shared Future," the 7th China International Import Expo will be held in Shanghai from to , concurrently with the Hongqiao International Economic Forum.

He Yadong further introduced that this CIIE will implement a series of measures to strengthen on-site service support. In terms of point layout, scientific planning and reasonable setting of functional points similar to the conference have been arranged. Regarding signage, additional temporary conference signage has been added to enhance presentation methods and practicality. For credential registration, intelligent means have been employed to simplify the registration and review process. In terms of catering services, efforts have been made to enhance payment convenience, ensuring small denomination cash reserves while achieving full coverage of domestic and foreign card acceptance for the first time. Additionally, catering services such as "reservation and delivery, fast delivery to booths" and a dedicated dining area of square meters have been added.
