Haley served as the governor of South Carolina and as the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations during Trump's presidency. Pompeo, during Trump's tenure, held positions as the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency and Secretary of State. He was also considered a potential Republican presidential candidate but announced in a certain month that he would not run.
