According to Israeli media reports, Prime Minister Netanyahu of Israel acknowledged for the first time at a cabinet meeting on the same day that the communication equipment explosion incident was caused by members of Hezbollah in Lebanon.

The report cited Netanyahu as saying that despite opposition from the heads of Israel's defense establishment and some senior government officials, Israel carried out Operation Pager and eliminated the former leader of Hezbollah, Nasrallah.

On the 1st and 2nd, a series of explosions involving pagers and walkie-talkies occurred in Lebanon, resulting in a total of 10 deaths and approximately 100 injuries. The Israeli side has yet to respond to the incident directly.

Additionally, according to a statement released by the Israeli military, multiple "projectiles" launched by Hezbollah from Lebanon crossed into Israel. The early warning system installed on the Xinhua News Agency reporter's mobile phone showed that air raid sirens frequently sounded in multiple towns in the Haifa area of northern Israel and around the Sea of Galilee that day.

Since the outbreak of the new round of Israel-Palestine conflict on a certain date last year, Hezbollah in Lebanon has intermittently launched attacks on northern Israel, prompting the Israeli military to retaliate with airstrikes and artillery fire on targets in southern Lebanon. Following the explosion of communication equipment in Lebanon this year, the conflict between Lebanon and Israel escalated sharply. Israel has continued to carry out airstrikes on areas such as the southern suburbs of Beirut, resulting in the deaths of multiple Hezbollah leaders, including Nasrallah and Safiaddin, in Israeli airstrikes.

According to statistics released by the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health this month, since the beginning of last month, the conflict between Hezbollah and Israel has resulted in the deaths of people in Lebanon.
