On [date], President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory letter to the High-Level Forum of Media Think Tanks from the "Global South".

Xi Jinping pointed out that currently, the Global South is growing in strength and playing an increasingly important role in the cause of human progress. China has always been a member of the Global South, forever belonging to the developing countries, and is willing to work together with other Global South nations to practice true multilateralism, advocate for a balanced and orderly multipolar world, and a fair and inclusive economic globalization, jointly promoting the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.

Xi Jinping emphasized that pursuing the dream of modernization amidst the changes of a century, promoting the development of the international order towards a more just and reasonable direction, is the sacred historical mission of global southern countries, and also a common contemporary issue faced by global southern media and think tanks. He hopes that the participants will engage in in-depth discussions, consolidate consensus, jointly amplify the "Southern Voice," demonstrate "Southern Responsibility," and contribute wisdom to making global southern countries a stabilizing force for peace, a core force for open development, a constructive force for global governance, and a promoting force for cultural exchange.

The High-Level Forum of "Global South" Media Think Tanks opened in São Paulo, Brazil. The forum, co-hosted by Xinhua News Agency and Brazil Communications Company, is themed "Singing the Main Theme of the 'Global South' and Starting a New Journey of Development and Revitalization." On the same day, Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva also sent a congratulatory letter to the forum.
