今天歼-15总设计师孙聪院士说:“歼-15和歼-35两型飞机都会上航母!”

The 15th China Airshow has opened, featuring the highly anticipated flight demonstration of the J- aircraft, and within the exhibition area, a model of an aircraft labeled "J-" is also on display. Wang Yongqing, the chief expert from the Shenyang Institute of China Aviation Industry Corporation, explained that the J- on display is the air force version, while the J- model in the exhibition hall is the carrier-based version.

J- is a new generation of stealth carrier-based fighter aircraft independently developed by China. The aircraft features an integrated design with a single-seat, twin-engine, and outward-leaning twin-vertical tail overall layout. It is a multi-role carrier-based fighter primarily designed for air superiority missions while also capable of surface operations. It possesses characteristics such as stealth air superiority, long-range surface attack, multi-source perception, system integration, and compatibility with both guided missiles and gun-launched projectiles.

Regarding the multi-type development of the J-1 aircraft, Academician Sun Cong, the chief designer of the J-1, stated: "It is not just a simple series today; in fact, the planning for the J-1 began years ago, it's just that it has recently been presented to everyone." Sun Cong said: "Both the J-1 and the J-2 aircraft will be deployed on aircraft carriers!"

Sun Cong also introduced the usage and combination of carrier-based aircraft: "The J- and J- aircraft, generally speaking, can be used extensively once air superiority is achieved. During the process of seizing air superiority, high-level stealth aircraft may be required to achieve this, representing an integrated development."
