A new composition system was designed, multiple production contingency plans were formulated, ensuring the control of harmful element content in the steelmaking process and the internal quality of the ingot, and optimizing the rolling model and process, precisely controlling key process parameters, to ensure the performance and surface quality of wide-specification products.

Upon inspection, the product successfully passed the most critical test for resistance to acidic gas corrosion, with all performance indicators meeting the standard requirements. This achievement fulfills the specific needs of the international pipeline steel market and individual customers, marking a new breakthrough in the field of acid-resistant pipeline steel.

High-grade acid-resistant pipeline steel for export to Dubai was delivered as scheduled, meeting the high standards required by users, earning the trust of customers, further expanding the overseas pipeline market, and enhancing the international market influence of the Shougang brand. Currently, Shougang's medium and heavy plate pipeline steel has achieved full coverage of grade-products, with stable large-scale supply for the following grades. The product types include steel for pipeline engineering, anti-deformation, anti-corrosion, station steel, and hot-bending steel. The pipeline steel products have been supplied to projects such as the West-East Gas Transmission Project, the China-Myanmar anti-deformation pipeline, the Central Asia pipeline, the China-Russia Eastern Line, the New Gas Pipeline, and the Oman acid-resistant pipeline project.
