The satellite and rocket combination of the Queqiao-2 relay satellite mission is vertically transported to the launch area.

According to the National Space Administration, on March 17, the Queqiao-2 relay satellite and the Long March-8 remote-3 carrier rocket completed relevant work in the technical area at the Wenchang Space Launch Site in China. The satellite-rocket combination was vertically transported to the launch area., it is planned to launch at an appropriate time in the near future.

After the Queqiao-2 relay satellite and the Long March-8 remote-3 carrier rocket arrived at the launch site in February, they successively completed various preparations such as assembly and testing. On the morning of March 17, the mobile launch platform carrying the Long March 8 Remote-3 carrier rocket slowly drove out of the vertical test building of the launch site, safely transporting the satellite-rocket combination to the launch area. Subsequently, after completing the rocket functional inspection, joint testing work and propellant filling, an opportunity was selected to carry out the launch.
