According to the agreement, the Minhang District People's Government and Shanghai Jiaotong University will work together to accelerate the development of regional integrated circuit disciplines, technology research and development, and achievement transformation, empowering the high-quality development of the industrial economy, and cooperate in terms of sharing and integrating regional and university resources, innovative development of the integrated circuit industry, and talent exchange and interaction, so as to build a new highland for the integrated circuit industry.

The independent innovation capacity and development level of integrated circuit technology and industry serve as an important indicator to measure a country's national strength. They are also key areas for China to achieve the strategic goal of building a leading country in science and technology.

The establishment of the Integrated Circuit College of Shanghai Jiao Tong University is not only a vivid practice of Shanghai Jiao Tong University's resolute implementation of the national strategic deployment and assistance in the construction of Shanghai's International Science and Technology Innovation Center, but will also provide strong support and inject new vitality for the upgrading and high-quality development of Minhang's industries, making all-out efforts to build a "three science cities" of science, technology and innovation.

As we all know, the School of Integrated Circuits of Shanghai Jiao Tong University will continuously promote autonomy and controllability in the field of integrated circuits, and contribute more wisdom and strength to the construction of Shanghai Global Science and Innovation Center and the acceleration of achieving a high level of self-reliance and self-improvement.

In order to improve the academic direction and strategic development of the school of integrated circuits, the school of integrated circuits has set up an academic advisory committee. The conference has employed a number of academicians as the first batch of members of the academic advisory committee.

In order to strengthen the coordinated technical research and talent cultivation of integrated circuits between the schools and industries, the College of Integrated Circuits has set up an Expert Committee on the Collaborative Development of Industry and Education, and invited more than 20 experts from leading enterprises to serve as its first expert members.

To build a new type of school-enterprise collaborative platform for the integration of production, study and research, the School of Integrated Circuits has signed strategic cooperation framework agreements with more than ten cooperative enterprises. Subsequently, it will cooperate with the signing units in technology research and development, talent training, and other aspects, continuously enhancing the "acceleration" of scientific and technological achievement transformation, and exploring a new ecosystem for the cyclical linkage of "talent training - talent gathering - scientific and technological innovation - industrial upgrading".
