On April 10, Mr. Ling Ji, Vice Minister of Commerce and Deputy International Trade Representative, met with Mr. Jakob Scharregaard Sørensen, CEO of the Confederation of Danish Industry.

Ling Ji said that China is comprehensively promoting Chinese-style modernization with high-quality development, unswervingly expanding high-level opening-up, and providing a superior business environment and broad market opportunities for foreign companies including Danish ones. China stands ready to strengthen cooperation with Denmark in such sectors as AI, clean energy, smart manufacturing, and life sciences. It is hoped that the Confederation of Danish Industry will play a positive role in urging the EU to provide a fair and open competitive environment for Chinese companies.

Sørensen said that the Danish Industry Federation is optimistic about China's economic development prospects, and is willing to build a bridge for Sino-Danish economic and trade cooperation, support Danish companies to deeply cultivate the Chinese market, and expand investment in China.
