Order No. 14/2024, published in the Official Gazette of the Macao SAR on April 8, 2024, declares August 11, 2024, as the election day for the Electoral Committee of the Chief Executive of the Macao SAR in accordance with relevant provisions of the Chief Executive Electoral Law, as determined by Ho Iat Seng, Chief Executive of the Macao SAR.

The 8th Bulletin also published the Executive Order No. 58/2024, in which the Chief Executive, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Law on Chief Executive Election", appointed the President and members of the Electoral Management Committee for the Chief Executive Election, including Song Man Li, Judge of the Court of Final Appeal (President of the Committee), Mi Wan Ying, Assistant Prosecutor General of the Public Prosecutions Office, Simon Seng, Presiding Judge of the Collegiate Bench of the Court of First Instance, Wu Wai Han, Director of the Public Administration and Civil Service Bureau and Chan Lou, Director of the Government Information Bureau.
