Deployment of key tasks for energy reform in 2024:Deepen reform and promote high-quality development
On April 1, the National Energy Administration held a meeting of the Leading Group for Comprehensively Deepening Reform and Promoting Functional Transformation in 2024 to comprehensively summarize the progress of energy system reform in 2023 and deploy key reform tasks in 2024. Zhang Jianhua, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the National Energy Administration, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech. Ren Jingdong and Wan Jinsong, members of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Directors, attended the meeting.
The meeting pointed out that in 2023, the National Energy Administration will fully implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the Second Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and the arrangements of meetings such as the Central Economic Work Conference, further promote reforms in key energy areas such as electricity and oil and gas, and continue to optimize the energy field. Business environment, various energy reform work has made positive progress.
The meeting requested that in 2024, all units should continue to deepen reforms in accordance with the overall plan of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on energy development and reform, launch and implement various reform measures around establishing and improving policy mechanisms to ensure energy security in a coordinated manner, building institutional mechanisms to promote green and low-carbon transformation of energy, accelerating the construction of energy market system, improving energy supervision and management system, etc., and accelerate the establishment of institutional mechanisms adapted to new energy systems and new power systems. Promote high-quality energy development.
