Reporters learned from Anhui University on the 16th that Professor Du Haifeng of the school led a team of new topological magnetic materials and memory devices, using focused ion beam micro-nano device preparation technology,

The world's smallest size Skomitze track device unit was prepared.

The track width of this unit is 100 nanometers, which enables one-dimensional, stable and efficient movement of 80-nanometer magneto on a track with a width of 100 nanometers driven by nanosecond electric pulses.

It provides important support for building high-density, high-speed and reliable new topological magnetoelectronics devices. Relevant research results were recently published in Nature Newsletter.
As a magnetic structure with non-banal topological characteristics, Magnetogram is expected to serve as a next generation data carrier to build new magnetoelectronics devices due to its advantages such as small size, high stability, and easy current control.
The researchers said that their research demonstrated the high-speed and stable movement characteristics of magneto in the nanotrack, laying the foundation for the construction of magneto based devices.
